Machine Operator /Production Operator
Summary
Sets up and safely operates production machinery. Participates in continuous improvement efforts.
Responsibilities
• Sets up and safely operates production machinery
• Inspects production machinery and troubleshoots minor issues
• Performs necessary preventative maintenance
• Conducts quality inspections at the source
• Performs changeovers of dies, gear assemblies and pump filters
• Sets up dispensing production machinery
• Safely operates required power and hand tools
• Troubleshoots and reports corrective actions after rectifying machine issues
• Dispense molten adhesives onto paper lines during the production process
• Participates in continuous improvement efforts.
Experience
2 years of production work experience.
Education
High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
Certifications, Business Licenses, Registrations, Other
Forklift certification is required within 3 months of hire.
Other Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities
• Ability to read
• Basic Math
• Ability to learn how to operate machinery
• Ability to provide basic maintenance to machinery
