CNC Machine Operator
Entry Level CNC Operator / Machinist
Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience on CNC machines preferred or two-year degree from a technical college. Past work in a manufacturing or machine shop environment. Preferred experience with large CNC lathes using fanuc control language, Mazatrol Matrix Language, or other machining centers using G-Code programming.
Welding experience preferred.
SKILLS: Basic math skills, basic computer skills, ability to read drawings, a mechanical aptitude, experience with basic measuring instruments.
Job Duties:
The candidate must be able to write some programs while at the machine, modify program speed, feeds, and G code as needed to manufacture part to print, proof program and edit as necessary, accurately use measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauge, bore gauge, threat gauge, and attribute style gauges, set up and run manual lathes, and other duties as required.
This position is required to join the Union after 30 days.
The union provides health insurance. There is 401k available. Union employees receive a set $130/month contribution to the plan, and 12% of gross wages/month contribution to the plan. Plus profit sharing.
Yearly stipend for steel toe boots, and safety glasses including prescription.
$23.00-25.00/hr

• 7:00a – 3:30p Monday thru Friday
• 5:00a – 3:30p OT schedule based on business needs
