LABORATORY TECHNICIAN-
Perform laboratory tests to produce chemicals according to established standards and guidelines.
Ensure final product meets quality and customer specs
Maintain equipment calibrations and calibration standards Investigate issues, analyze root causes and define resolutions
Maintain lab cleanliness
Handle lab equipment and supplies safely and effectively
Document laboratory activities for reference purposes
Work with Supervisor to set objectives and milestones
Maintain sufficient stock of chemicals and supplies to perform lab experiments
Develop standard procedures to improve quality and efficiency
Track Hazardous waste generation and disposal
Requirements
Technical school or equivalent lab technician certificate or BS Degree in Chemistry
Five to seven years chemical processing experience or industrial lab experience Experience with HPLC/UPLC a must
Familiar with Microsoft Office tools, Excel, Word, Powerpoint etc.
