Maintenance Mechanic/ Industrial Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician will be a key part of the team. The technicians are responsible for keeping the bakery running efficiently and driving continuous improvement forward through our PM program and special projects. Every individual on our team has specific strengths that help to drive innovation and productivity forward.
Organize, and facilitate maintenance on all production and facility equipment with emphasis on equipment up-time and resolve quality and production-related issues in the spirit of continuous improvement, including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting.
Job Duties Include:
Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair production equipment.
Installation, modification, and fabrication of equipment to meet production needs and schedules.
Communicate maintenance situations clearly from one shift to another, including Maintenance Team Leader and Maintenance Manager.
Plant wide accountabilities for operational aspects including progress toward quality and production goals.
Participate in continuous improvement in safety, quality, and housekeeping.
Preflight of mechanical and electrical systems for production equipment
Improve upon PMs in place while working with engineering staff offering suggestions for improvement.
Requirements:
Able to read equipment (OEM) designs, schematics, and layouts.
Basic computer proficiency
Perform electrical duties as necessary (i.e., wiring, electrical component installation).
The ability to identify worn bushings or bearings and change them as needed.
The ability or willingness to learn how to weld (Tig, Stick, and Mig)
Food Manufacturing industry experience preferred
2nd shift: 1pm-9pm
3rd shift: 9pm-5am
*Training will be done on 1st shift-6am -230pm
$27.00-30.00/hr Plus OT
Must be available to work weekends
