Material Handler Laborer/ Production Worker/ Inspectors
The scope of work for this position covers the responsibility for Tray/Sleeve/Lid Inspector Processing Department functions for the Postal Operations.
Essential Job Functions:
- Inspect, sort and stack trays, sleeves and lids.
- Apply opaque labels to sleeves and lids containing mail direction bar codes.
- Identify “Serviceable,” “Defective,” or “Condemned” trays/sleeves/lids and segregate each classification.
- Adhere to all Pallet Stacking Criteria and Standards
- Comply with Rework Orders.
- Perform Mail Transport Equipment Support System (MTESS) transactions as required.
- Observe safe practice rules (including housekeeping) as well as instructions relating to the efficient performance of their work.
- Identify and properly handle Found Mail.
Experience Required:
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying.
*Incentives available for exceeding quotas
$21.20/hr
1st shift 6am -2:30pm
2nd shift 3pm – 11:30pm
