Mechanic Assistant Bilingual Preferred

Job Duties Include:

• Cleans, inspects, and/or lubricates recyclable sorting equipment or performs routine maintenance or minor repairs on recycling equipment, such as star gears, finger sorters, de-stoners, belts, grinders, conveyors, screens, gear drives, and bearings.
• Cleans, inspects, and/or lubricates recyclable sorting equipment and/or performs routine maintenance or minor repairs on recycling equipment.
• May assist in the response to calls for emergency repairs.
• Performs routine maintenance and repair work.
• Maintains various activity records and logs of supplies and equipment used.
• Performs preventive maintenance checks as scheduled.
• Assists journey-level mechanics in the installation, maintenance, and repair of recycling mechanical
• equipment and systems, conveyors, screens, sorters, gear drives, and bearings.
• Reports to Plant Maintenance Manager.

Requirements:

• Previous Mechanical experience or knowledge of
• Welding, hydraulics or electrical experience is a plus.

Bilingual Preferred

Monday – Friday

8am-5pm

(*Training done from 5am-1:30pm)

21.00-23.00/hr DOE – weekly pay
