Mechanic Assistant Bilingual Preferred
Job Duties Include:
- Cleans, inspects, and/or lubricates recyclable sorting equipment or performs routine maintenance or minor repairs on recycling equipment, such as star gears, finger sorters, de-stoners, belts, grinders, conveyors, screens, gear drives, and bearings.
- Cleans, inspects, and/or lubricates recyclable sorting equipment and/or performs routine maintenance or minor repairs on recycling equipment.
- May assist in the response to calls for emergency repairs.
- Performs routine maintenance and repair work.
- Maintains various activity records and logs of supplies and equipment used.
- Performs preventive maintenance checks as scheduled.
- Assists journey-level mechanics in the installation, maintenance, and repair of recycling mechanical
- equipment and systems, conveyors, screens, sorters, gear drives, and bearings.
- Reports to Plant Maintenance Manager.
Requirements:
- Previous Mechanical experience or knowledge of
- Welding, hydraulics or electrical experience is a plus.
Bilingual Preferred
Monday – Friday
8am-5pm
(*Training done from 5am-1:30pm)
21.00-23.00/hr DOE – weekly pay
