QA Lab Technician

Job Duties:

• Performs chemical, physical and organoleptic tests on raw materials and finished products for
• specification compliance as requested
• Monitor and audit various critical control production points
• Enters all QA data and creates statistical graphs for all attributes requested
• Performs environmental swabbing as scheduled.
• Monitor and replace retention samples throughout its shelf life
• Creates certificate of analysis as requested by customers
• Upkeep of all quality control records and current QA technical documents
• Assist QA manager in any customer complaints and /or non compliance
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

•  Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
•  Knowledge of food laboratory instrumentation and test methods.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear; stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; climb and reach with hands and arms. 50% of the position is performed standing. Required to lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally.

$19.00-21.00/hr
