Installer
Now hiring for all levels of Show Set Installers that have various experience with installing themed elements within artificial environments by the way of different types of installation.
Job Duties:
- Responsible for adhering to all Company and Project safety programs, policies, and procedures as well as all Federal, State, and local safety codes and regulations.
- Use of a wide-range of industry-standard hand tools and equipment during installation and maintenance.
- Ability to read and understand written procedures which apply directly to job duties.
- Novice skills and familiarity with typical carpentry hand tools, power tools and applications
- Assists in the operation and maintenance of air compressors and various power and hand tools.
- Assists in the handling and installation of show set components in shop and field.
- Help handle material, move equipment, jobsite clean-up and utility runner as needed.
Level 2
- All tasks above and proficient skills and familiarity with typical carpentry hand tools, power tools and applications
- Reading blueprints/sketches to determine location and methodology of installing components.
- Good knowledge of rigging equipment used to connect and secure the load to a lifting device (wire rope slings, nylon slings, eyebolts, U-bolts, and other attachments).
- Assist with the rigging operations and preparing the loads to be moved.
- Inspect the rigging equipment to ensure it is safe and undamaged and cleaning, dismantling, and storing the rigging equipment after every use.
Level 3
All tasks above and expert skills and familiarity with typical carpentry hand tools, power tools and applications
- Experience with FRP, Carpentry, and Metals
- Applying lath and/or backing using fasteners and hand/power tools.
- Assist with rigging and staging.
- Coordinating with the other team members when loading and moving goods
Requirements:
- Minimum of one-year experience with field installation
- Good knowledge of the materials, tools, equipment, and machinery that are used in the industry is preferred.
- Able to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with all customers, team members and management.
- Ability to read and understand written procedures which apply directly to job duties.
- Ability to read tape measure down to the 8th
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to take initiative and prioritize.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Must bring personal typical hand tools aligned with Carpentry (i.e. tool pouch, 25’ tape measure, speed square, pliers, screwdrivers, chisel, and pry bars)
Level 2 Requirements:
- Minimum of three-years’ experience with field installation
- Ability to read tape measure down to the 16th
- Ability to review and understand construction drawings and specifications.
- Mechanically inclined
Level 3 Requirements:
- Minimum of five-years’ experience with field installation
- Advanced knowledge of blueprint layout and architectural specifications with the ability to read blueprints and other design documents.
- Excellent spatial awareness, and good communication skills.
- Meticulous with construction and always aware of safety on the construction site
- Qualified Rigger preferred.
