Maintenance Mechanic
Performs duties associated with maintenance of equipment on a daily basis. Performs related duties as assigned by management, up to and including: meeting EHS requirements; Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Perform job duties in a safe, organized, clean and efficient manner.
- Continued work order system placement and support team involvement.
- Assist in scheduling machinery PM schedule and performance.
- Maintain and perform treatment of equipment, including but not limited to:
– Production and auxiliary equipment, PM schedules and related equipment.
-Electrical and electronic maintenance on equipment drives, motors, panels, PLC’s and wiring.
-Process any maintenance concerns and problems, discuss with management.
- Follows SOP for maintaining safe and clean environment for Food Grade Product.
- Maintain inventory of parts and place orders with management approvals.
- Monitors and maintains accurate maintenance records, including daily and PM logs.
- Requisitions for maintenance, cleaning and janitorial supplies for equipment
- Reviews current procedures and recommends changes to improve operational efficiency.
- Diagnose and repair breakdowns on machinery in a safe and timely manner.
- Support and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Able to work alone and as a team member
- Recommends policies and procedures for maintenance tasks/projects implementation.
- Practice of Lock Out / Tag Out safety procedures.
- Attend training programs for onsite or offsite as directed by management.
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized working area before and after project is complete.
- Work overtime as needed for companies’ objectives. Support team needs.
- Be available on call for after hours, weekends and holidays based on production schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 3-5 years mechanical maintenance experience or Equivalent combination of training and experience in Industrial Mechanics
- Good communications skills
- Skilled in industrial maintenance repairs, planning, organizing, scheduling and monitoring the work capabilities of others.
- Safety and Security Consciousness.
Must be able to handle required lifting weight.

6pm-6am
$24.00/hr to start
