Reimbursement Specialist/ Insurance Specialist

Job Duties:

• Performs healthcare information & medical claims processing, healthcare billing & collection services, & provides financial guidance regarding hospital, HMO, clinical services to patients, their families & third-party representatives.
• Contact insurance companies to verify eligibility coverage for drug benefits.
• Function as a liaison between special drug program patients & their insurance companies.
• Contact insurance companies to verify eligibility coverage for drug benefits. Function as a liaison between special drug program patients & their insurance companies.

Requirements:

• Candidate must have insurance and prior authorization experience, excellent verbal and written skills, 2+ years of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Cross training opportunity, helping patients with rare diseases, working on a complex, high-touch team.

21.95/hr

Monday – Friday, 8am-8pm HYBRID
