Forklift Driver/ Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse.
• Inspect forklift equipment before and after use to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist in inventory management by organizing and storing products in designated areas.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to coordinate tasks during loading and unloading.
• Maintain accurate records of materials handled and report any discrepancies to supervisors.
• Help keep the warehouse clean and organized by disposing of waste and tidying up work areas.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating forklifts or similar material handling equipment.
• Valid forklift operator certification or relevant training.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with colleagues.
• Physical stamina and strength to lift and move heavy loads as required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• A proactive approach to safety and the ability to identify hazards in the workplace.

19.00/hr

1st shift: 6am start time
