Safety Coordinator

Job Duties:

• Observe production and warehouse activities to promote Safety.
• Walk the facility throughout the day to address any safety concerns or recognize safe acts.
• Performing regular site inspections and safety audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Reporting unsafe working conditions to Leadership
• Participate in Site Safety meetings and distribute safety information within the facility.
• Performing daily and weekly audits
• Utilize audits as KPI’s to prevent possible safety incidents and address safety concerns accordingly.
• Support the implementation of safety policies and procedures.
• Deliver safety feedback to staff and associates.
• Act as liaison between management regarding safety issues.
• Promote and Advocate for a safety-first culture across all site levels.
• Engage with management and operational staff to develop safety plans for actionable items.
• Collaborate with Site and Safety Leadership on EHS compliance.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Effective and open communication
• Detailed oriented
• Collaborate well with others.
• Sound understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
• Ability to work cooperatively with diverse groups.
