Electrical Assembly/Machine Operator /Forklift Operator (Bilingual Preferred)

Summary:

Maintain & Operate CNC Robotic Welder for first step in trailer fabrication.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ability to read and decipher engineering prints to high degree of accuracy 
• Responsible for the set-up and operation of robotic welding equipment
• Responsible for minor machine maintenance (changing out consumables)
• Cleans and maintains work area according to 5S program every day
• Responsible for quality of product produced in his/her work area
• Material handling duties are required
• Performs quality inspection of welds
• Communicates clearly, promptly, and openly
• Keeps their supervisor apprised of issues related to daily performance
• Maintains discipline and a safe working environment
• Must be able to work overtime as required
• Must be willing to be cross-trained in all areas of production
• Must be punctual, responsible, and reliable
• Must be able to lift 25-30 lbs. but up to 65 lbs. on an occasional basis.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Must possess the ability to read and understand electrical schematics/Blueprints.
• Must possess the ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Min of 6 months- 1yr Machine Operator Experience  
• Must have forklift experience.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Electrical Assembly: 1 year
• Mechanical and/or Electrical: 1 year

Monday- Thursday

1st Shift:  6am-430pm plus OT

$18.00/hr
