Material Handler

The Material Handler performs various activities within the materials department, including packaging and movement of materials, performing inventory control activities, training to the materials team, shipping & receiving tasks, and providing backup support within the materials team.  

Job Duties:

Inventory:

• Ensures inventory accuracy meets management exp
• Executes picking and put-away of materials
• Executes inventory cycle counts and material reconciliations

Production:    

• Ensures packaging of finished goods is completed seamlessly to sustain production runs 
• Executes shipping and receiving processes
• Provides backup to Materials Lead
• Provides coverage for Material Handler

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 years of experience in a Material Handler or similar role   
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to read and write and communicate in English
• Basic computer literacy
• Able to learn warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.) and obtain required certifications

Preferred skills and knowledge:

• Prior experience with an ERP system
• Inventory management experience
• Experience within medical devices

Occasional overtime is required

Hours will be 7am – 3:30pm.

$17.00/hr
