Maintenance Mechanic / Maintenance Technician
The General Maintenance Mechanic has the primary responsibility of mechanical machine service and repair on industrial equipment. This position also acts as a technical resource for all processing equipment. The Maintenance Mechanic will maintain a clean and safe work environment in the maintenance work areas. Ensure food safe lubricants and non-food safe lubricants are used appropriately. Considers food safety and consumer safety while preforming work. Participates in GMP and food safety training. Follows GMP policy. Reports all food safety concerns with urgency.
Job Duties:
- Perform installations and testing new equipment.
- Maintain, overhaul & repair various types of equipment, systems, components, etc.
- Preventative Maintenance on all industrial machinery
- Troubleshoot and modify any/all industrial machinery.
- Ability to provide concise reports using SAP programs, and related forms.
- Assist with equipment retrofits/upgrades.
- Understanding of common mechanical principles, electrical and electronic theory
- Performs all work in accordance with established OSHA, EPA and safety regulations.
- Building maintenance & repair
- Maintain a neat and orderly maintenance shop.
- Maintain separated storage of food safe and non-food safe lubricants and ensure proper use in the machines.
- Miscellaneous duties as directed by supervisor.

- Must have basic computer and math skills.
- Knowledge of lockout/tagout
- Should possess basic mechanical and skills.
- Must show at least a basic knowledge of oils.
- Must show basic knowledge of either pneumatics, hydraulics, or bearings.
- Knowledge to use basic hand and power tools.
- Understand basic troubleshooting.
Education and/or Experience:
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
- At least two years of maintenance experience preferred.
Must Follow GMP in Compliance with all FOOD SAFETY requirements
$25.00- $30.00/hr DOE
2nd shift 3pm- 11pm
