Welder
Experience Requirements:
- 1–3 years of welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment (required or preferred).
- Experience with MIG, TIG, or Stick welding depending on the company’s process.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with metal fabrication, cutting, and fitting.
- Experience using grinders, saws, torches, and measuring tools.
- Understanding of weld quality standards and inspection methods
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds.
- Ability to measure, cut, and align components precisely before welding.
- Basic math and measurement skills (fractions, decimals, tape measure use)
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and wear proper PPE.
- Teamwork and communication skills for working in a production cell environment.
Optional but Valuable Experience:
- Experience with blueprint reading and fabrication layout.
- Welding certification (e.g., AWS D1.1, D17.1, etc.).
- Experience operating robots or automated welding machines.
- Knowledge of different metals (carbon steel, aluminum, stainless).
- Basic understanding of weld repair
*Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work in hot, standing environments.
