Maintenance Mechanic/ Electrical Maintenance Mechanic Bilingual
The Maintenance Mechanic will work under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure the production and facility equipment are always working. The Mechanic will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all equipment according to safety, preventative maintenance schedule and existing equipment including building maintenance.
Job Duties Include:
- Perform various duties including: installing and maintaining production equipment such as Bagger and Winder machines
- Conduct machine setups
- Provides production repairs and performs scheduled maintenance on production equipment during work hours.
- Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs.
- Will provide mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting on production machines.
- Read and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and make adjustments as needed.
- Will use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Safely operate and repair forklift
Requirements Include:
- Previous experience with PLCs preferred
- Experience repairing conveyor belts
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures required.
- Previous work experience in mechanical, electrical and/or experience in blown film industries.
- Minimum 3 years of related experience with packing machines or production machines.
- Able to effectively communicate.
- Ability to muti task in a fact pace environment.
Constant physical activities are required for this position such as: ability to reach overhead, squat, and bend at the waist; the ability to lift boxes of 60 lbs. or more; ability to climb up and down stairs throughout a 12-hour shift; tolerance of standing posture continuously for 12 hours; tolerance to heights to repair towers; intense walking is involved; able to tolerate working environment with inside excessive hot and cold temperatures.
8pm-8am (will train on 1st shift, 7am-4pm for 4-6 weeks)
$35.00-$40.00/hr plus $1.00/hr incentive bonus and $2.00/hr attendance bonus
