QA Technician 2nd shift
QA Technician performs daily evaluation of work in process and finished products to ensure strict adherence to specifications regarding product safety and quality. Responsible for tracking paperwork and submitting correct and timely information. Performs sanitation, GMP and other required inspections. Maintains HACCP, SQF and customer compliance documents.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitors production process to assure that products are meeting quality and safety specs.
- Performs pre-operational and operational inspections of equipment and production areas.
- Performs incoming inspections of carriers, ingredients and packaging materials.
- Monitors, analyzes and documents in-process conditions, materials and products.
- Collects samples for microbiology testing of ingredients and finished products.
- Enforces QA policies and procedures.
- Audits production areas and personnel.
- Collects samples for environmental microbiology monitoring of production areas.
- Performs GMP audits and monitors GMP conditions.
- Assists in complaint investigations where necessary.
- Monitors and performs equipment calibrations.
- Measures and monitors temperatures.
- Completes accurate QA documentation.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience as quality technician in USDA-monitored facility preferred.
- Available to work flexible hours including second shift when needed
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and climb to perform job functions as needed
- Team player and organized

$22.00/hr (21.00/Hr + $1.00 Shift Differential)
