Production Operator
CNC Tube Bender Operator
Summary:
Responsible for setting up and operating the CNC tube bender machine to produce precision formed tubes according to engineering specifications.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Load tubing material into CNC tube bending machinery.
- Load and run programs according to job specifications.
- Monitor machine operation and run production parts efficiently.
- Verify part dimensions to print using precision measurement tools.
- Make offsets or corrections as needed when parts are out of tolerance.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
- Document daily production and record any scrap accurately.
- Adjust machine settings to accommodate different materials, diameters, and bend requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
- Ensure all safety protocols and quality standards are strictly followed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read and understand engineering diagrams, piece part drawings and using measurement instruments.
- Commitment to all aspects of safety
- Able to handle working on and completing projects within tight deadlines while maintaining professionalism
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years’ experience running CNC tube bending equipment preferred
- Bi-lingual Spanish preferred
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Position requires moderate walking, standing and/or climbing; lifting and carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching. Work will be performed around machinery with moving parts, moving objects or vehicles; exposure to heat, cold, dampness, humidity, slippery and uneven surfaces. Follow and adhere to all company safety policies and regulations.
Work Hours:
Monday – Thursday, 6am-4:30pm, with occasional need for overtime, as needed, to complete runs, shut-down and clean equipment.
$14.00-15.00/hr
