Grinder Operator
The Grinder Operator will locate and stage material, and to produce quality precision material grounded to customers specifications.
Job Duties:
- Operates the grinding and/or milling machine
- Lifts and positions workpiece manually or with hoist
- Changes worn grinding wheels, using wrenches.
- Loads feed mechanism by lifting stock into position.
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Operates overhead magnet craned to move material ensuring all safety standards and procedures are followed.
- Standard use of forklift ensures the same safety standards.
- Operates CNC machines.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a grinding Operator
- Previous experience with machine set up
- Previous experience using a sit down Forklift
- Good job stability
