Soldering Technician
We are seeking a detail-oriented Soldering Technician to join our team in Wood Dale, IL. This position is responsible for soldering and assembling electronic components and circuit boards while maintaining high-quality and production standards in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform hand soldering of electronic components and assemblies.
- Assemble small electronic parts according to specifications.
- Read and follow work instructions, diagrams, blueprints, and assembly drawings.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Identify and report defective materials or products.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Meet daily production and quality goals.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous soldering experience preferred.
- Experience working with electronic components is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy.
