Production Operator
Slitter Operator
Responsibilities:
- Understand and follow all JSA’s and safety procedures and policies.
- Setting up UTECO slitter to slit product to customer specifications.
- Load rolls of WIP (Work in Process) onto machine and thread machine.
- Inspects quality of rolls before production and begins and continuously checks quality of line as it is produced.
- Properly document quality inspections.
- Check to be sure all guards are in place and working properly according to procedures.
- Removes rolls in a timely manner, inspect, label, package, and stack on skid.
- Weighs and documents all scrap
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen.
- Ability to work a 12 hour day on night shift
- Work overtime as needed
- Satisfactorily complete training courses as determined by management.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation
- Must have basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide)
- Must be able to read a ruler

$18.00/hr.
