Lift Truck Operator
Toyota and Linde Forklift Driver
This role oversees all movement and storage of products while operating industrial trucks to load/unload materials and deliveries. The lift truck operator will also move product to and from storage areas and loading docks, into trucks or storage facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble, load, and/or unload materials to designated area using appropriate equipment including forklift, clamp lift, barcode readers and safety equipment.
- Support SAP functions as related to inventory and load management. (IE. Pick list, PGI)
- Follow all Critical Safety Rules, Standards of Conduct, and plant and company practices, procedures, policies, Standard work practices, truck and railcar health and safety rules, including the attendance policy.
- Perform transfers with a high degree of accuracy and accountability and in accordance with the established standard processes and procedures.
- Perform all duties as outlined in the Operations Lift Truck Operator standard work not limited to but including dispatching, training, replenishments, bin maintenance/consolidation, labeling, etc.
- Effectively assist with operations on all EPS lines as assigned.
- Provide exceptional service to internal and external customers on a daily basis.
Requirements:
- Successful completion of lift truck/forklift certification program
- Minimum of 1 years lift truck/clamp truck experience working in a fast paced logistics environment preferred
- Basic computer skills required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively with little to no supervision.
- Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience Requirements (Qualifications)
- HS Diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of lift truck/forklift certification program
AM Shift: $17.50/HR
PM Shift: $18.50/HR
