Machine Operator/ Extrusion Operator
Responsibilities:
- Operate production equipment safely and efficiently according to process instructions and safety guidelines.
- Inspect products for defects. Perform quality checks and verify correct gauge for various product types.
- Make machine adjustments based on process documentation to maintain efficiency and product quality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, practice good housekeeping in all assigned areas.
- Respond to line calls and assist co-workers.
- Provide training and mentorship to new hires and current associates.
- Promptly report any safety, hygiene, quality, or production issues to the supervisor.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety standards.
- Complete all required documentation accurately and on time.
- Excellent attendance for scheduled shifts and meetings.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of continuous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to follow standard work instructions and operate with consistency.
- Experience using measurement equipment (e.g., calipers, gauges) is a plus but is not required.
- Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and willingness to take initiative.
- Completion of Foams Extrusion Operator Associate I training packet within 90 days of hire.
