Customer Service Representative


Supports customer service, regional sales managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to sales; receiving and entering purchase orders, coordinating freight, invoicing, running reports, analyzing order trends, customer complaint resolution and other communications.  Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material.  The ability to effectively communicate via phone and email ensuring all administrative assistant duties are completed accurately, with quality and in a timely manner

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answer & direct phone calls with customers
  • Maintain contact lists of distributor and end users
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled conference calls and reports
  • Develop and maintain a filing system
  • Provide general abrasive information by answering questions and requests
  • Prepare and monitor invoices, purchase orders, quality and customer complaints
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing and supporting customer service office
  • Coordinate logistic shipments with freight carriers on behalf of customer orders
  • Respond to customer questions, inquiries, and concerns immediately, and assist with satisfactory resolution.
  • Reply to email, telephone, fax and face to face inquiries
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft: word, excel, power point, etc.
  • Excellent time management skills & ability to multi-task & prioritize work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. 
  • Professionalism in a team environment with a high degree of accuracy is essential.
  • Previous Database/WMS experience strongly preferred
  • 2-3 years previous customer service experience.
  • Warehouse or Logistics Industry experience preferred



830am-5pm (1/2 hr unpaid lunch)
