GENERAL LABOR

1st Shift, 6 am - 2 pm in Production & Assembly

2nd Shift, 2 pm – 10 pm in Production

Full Time Hours, Some Saturdays maybe required

SUMMARY:

Performs one or more functions such as marking, labeling, banding, tying, packing, or wrapping containers by performing the following duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Fills container to ensure that product is packaged according to specifications.
  • Feeds product to conveyors and unloads packaged product.
  • Replenishes packaging supplies such as wrapping paper, plastic sheet, boxes, and cartons.
  • Assists in loading packaging supplies.
  • Attaches information on container such as lot number or product number etc.
  • Assists in correct and complete labeling being printed and applied to packaging.
  • Removes finished product from outfeed and stacks it in tote or carton.
  • Other duties may be assigned by supervisor (i.e., sweeping, cardboard and garbage).

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk in order to perform assigned duties. The employee is occasionally required to ascend stairs or balance. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and depth perception.

1st shift: $11.00

2nd shift: -$11.25
