Manufacturing/Service Engineer
Mechanical/ Industrial Engineer/Test Engineer
Job Duties Include:
- Reads and correctly interprets industry and customer test specifications. Performs the associated tests in accordance with said specifications.
- Correctly analyzes and interprets test results. Writes accurate and informative test reports. Records all applicable testing conditions and parameters to allow for full traceability of test results.
- Provides general technical support to Research and Development, Sales, Operations, Product Management, Program Management, Purchasing, Applications Engineering, and Product Engineering teams.
- Capable of providing support as requested by supervisor.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline is required. Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering is preferred
Requirements:
- Some experience in technical services/laboratory work is preferred
- Must be computer literate with the ability to use Microsoft Office programs
- Excellent communication skills required. Must have the ability to interface with all levels of the organization in person, on the phone, and through email
- Must be capable of handling multiple tasks in an organized and efficient manner
- Familiarity with PC based data acquisition hardware and software is a plus
- Experience with mechanical test equipment and chemical test equipment is a plus
- Knowledge of ASTM, SAE, and other test methods is a plus
