Sales Coordinator
Temporary-6 months
Monroe, MI 48162

Position Summary:

This position will be responsible for supporting the rhythm of monthly business activities within the Sales Operations team such as gathering data, auditing, and processing claims for customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Audit and process retail and traditional customer annual return requests for US and Canada; assign return authorization (RA) and track progress of inventory returns.
  • Monitor retail accounts return progress through customer portals.
  • Investigate return credit inquiries from customers and provide supporting documentation.
  • Assist customers with direct-billed freight issues for returned product.
  • Manage investigations and resolutions for customer deductions; work with A/R and deductions team on resolutions.
  • Work direct with Customs & Trade Compliance Coordinator for customs paperwork for returned inventory into the US.
  • Track and audit incoming and outgoing product inventories at Canadian warehouse to ensure timely movement of the product and provide “Days on Hand” analysis.
  • Assist in customer order processing.
  • Provide inventory analysis support using in-house inventory management tools.
  • Engage in continuous improvement and seek to improve processes and add value to customers and end consumers.
  • Support various special projects and department initiatives as required by management.

Position Criteria:

  • Ability to handle multiple, concurrent assignments, effectively managing deadlines and priorities, accurately with detail.
  • Strong background in customer interactions, sales or related experience.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly and effectively handle stressful customer situations, including conflict resolution.
  • Strong problem solving skills, follow-up and follow-through with customer calls and emails.
  • Must be confident, possess a positive attitude and be accountable.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in business or related field or multiple years of applied industry experience.
  • Proficient PC skills; previous experience required in the following systems: SAP, MS Excel with emphasis on V- look-up and Pivot Tables, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Outlook.
