General Labor/ Sorter/Recycling Sorter

As a General Laborer/Sorter, you will be responsible for working quickly and efficiently to sort through paper/cardboard/plastic and other recyclable materials, maintaining a safe and clean work environment and all other duties as assigned. You should be someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, productive open warehouse-type setting. You must have consistent, reliable attendance and practice Safety First.
 

Job Duties Include: Sorting Recyclables

Additional Job Duties Include:

• Production Line Sorter is responsible for ensuring proper placement and sorting materials on the conveyor line by performing the following duties
• Other duties as assigned
• Willingness to work in a physically demanding and repetitive role.
• Sort items or materials into piles or places in containers according to type of recyclable material

What You Will Have:

• Required to use hand to eye coordination
• Required to be on your feet for your entire shift (8 Hours)
• Required to be exposed to physical occupational risks (such as cuts, burns, etc) rarely
• Required to exert physical effort in handling objects less than 15 pounds
• Required to be exposed to all outdoor elements (Hot/Cold Weather Conditions)
• Required to be exposed to physical environment which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements

$17.00/hr
Monday-Friday

2nd Shift: 2:30pm – 11:00pm
