Material Handler/ Bander

Job Duties Include:

• Fast-paced pallet banding  
• Use a bander (battery and/or pneumatic) to band the palletized Mail Transport Equipment (MTE) correctly
• Perform preventive maintenance check on bander
• Measure material to proper height
• Ensure items are stacked per customer requirement prior to banding
• Ensure continuous and smooth flow of Mail through the department
• Observe safe practice rules (including housekeeping) as well as instructions relating to the efficient performance of work.
• Identify and properly handle found mail

Requirements Include:

• Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying.
• Consistent bending/squatting

$23.56/hr ($18.20 + $5.36 H&W) | OT $27.30/hr
