Accounts Receivable

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deposit daily checks/ cash
  • Ensure all revenue, credits and payments are posted correctly
  • Check for errors (unclassed and misclassed income)
  • Daily import of transactions and donations between systems
  • Work closely with the Donor Database Manager to make sure QB and DPO agree
  • Set up payment plans for tuition/ fees
  • Monthly billing for the adult programs to the state and school districts including attendance
  • Resolve and resubmit state rejections
  • Monthly reconciliation of transactions, pledges, and Therap payments
  • Assist monthly bank reconciliation and monthly/ year-end period audit
  • Run monthly AR reports – Conduct collections
  • Customer service
  • Work closely with Camp registration and assist with financial application process
  • Annual billing
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent in Accounting
  • Experience in accounts receivable (or accounts payable)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as well as other accounting software programs.
  • Ability to operate related office equipment, such as computers, 10-key calculator, and copier.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.

 

Experience with software preferred: QuickBooks, Donor Perfect Online (Fundraising), Therap (Adult program billing), ROCS (state billing system), FACTS Management (tuition collection + assistance application), CampMinder (Camp inTouch) – registration + payments

 

 

Temporary – 8-10 weeks

25.00/hr

Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:00pm or 8:30am-4:30pm

and Fridays 8:00am-3:00pm
