Forklift Driver/Operator

As a key member of the production team, this role ensures continuous workflow by maintaining a steady supply of materials to the production line. The individual in this position collaborates closely with team members and leverages their knowledge to support others, contributing to overall efficiency and operational success.

Responsibilities:

• Operate all warehouse equipment required to transfer finished goods and other products to the appropriate areas. All warehouse equipment includes, forklift, clamp truck, etc.
• Load and unload trucks efficiently in accordance with department standards.
• Stock all goods in a safe and stable manner
• Communication pertinent information to relief at shift change
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Maintain work area in an organized, safe and clean manner, Knowledge of 6s a plus
• Know locations and how to operate emergency stop buttons and fire extinguishers
• Complete forklift checklist
• Monitor and record all products returned/received
• Check accuracy of finished product count on pallets, product ID, ensure all pallets only have one Port Ticket on them when removing from lines
• Fill forklift propane tank at end of shift
• Accurate Cycle counts as designated by the Team Leaders
• Effective organization and staging of materials to support the accuracy of inventories.
• All other job duties as directed by Team Leader
• Knowledge of LOTO procedures is a plus

Requirements (Qualifications):

• Grade 10 or equivalent education; up to and including 1 year of related training or experience
• Must obtain Lift Truck License
• Must obtain a valid State Driver’s License
• Must not have any active step-two write ups
• Must have less than 4 attendance points
• Must have 2 or more years experience with sit down forklifts

Temporary to Hire

2nd shift: 2:00PM-10:30PM

$18.00-$20.00/hr DOE

Background check- Drug Test- E-Verify

Steel toes required.
