Machine Operator

Job Duties:

• Set up and operate food processing and packaging machinery according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Monitor equipment performance and product quality throughout the production run.
• Perform routine inspections and basic troubleshooting to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
• Ensure accurate documentation of production data, such as batch records, machine settings, and downtime logs.
• Follow all safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols, including wearing required PPE.
• Conduct cleaning and sanitization of equipment as required during and after production.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding any production or equipment concerns.
• Assist with changeovers, line startups, and shutdowns.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or food production environment preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn technical processes quickly.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed. Working Conditions: Exposure to loud noise, varying temperatures, and production odors. Standing, bending, and lifting throughout shift.
• Fast-paced environment with strict adherence to food safety and quality standards

$17.00 hr

Monday – Friday

1:30 pm to 10:00 pm

$18.00 hr

Monday – Friday

9:30 pm to 6:00 am

$19.00 hr
