QC Technician

Reporting to the Quality, Safety & Training Manager, the Quality Technician’s role is to ensure products comply with order requirements, quality standards, and conform to testing procedures.

Duties include inspection and testing of electrical products, working with meters and other calibrated equipment, and assisting in troubleshooting non-conforming products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understanding and adhering to all assembly instructions and inspection/test procedures.
• Providing guidance, when needed, to manufacturing and assisting with problem resolution.
• Testing of equipment, including following documented instructions and/or verbal directions.
• Using calibrated and non-calibrated tools and electrical testing equipment.
• Recording meter readings and calibration data accurately to ensure compliance with standards.
• Reviewing documentation to ensure compliance with orders including shop orders, customerorders, customer purchase orders, quotes, and special instructions.
• Handling perishable materials, defective materials, and other related processes.
• Supporting calibration and preventative maintenance programs including certifying tools,performing preventative maintenance, and properly documenting results.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area per housekeeping standards, includingequipment carts.
• Establishing and maintaining cooperative work relationships with all employees andpromoting a team environment.
• Providing feedback to managers on improvements, defective equipment, and/or safetyconcerns.

$21.50.

6:30 am – 3:00 pm – Monday through Friday.
