Yard Cleaner

General Purpose

The Yard Cleaner/Groundskeeper is responsible for ensuring the physical aspects of the property are maintained by cleaning the grounds of the property throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Picks up trash on the property and in common areas, which includes but is not limited to driveways, parking lots, curbs, trash receptacle areas, exterior and any public areas.
• Ensure the dumpster area is emptied and kept clean.
• Walks the property several times a day to pick up debris.
• Communicate with the supervisor regarding the status of work and any potential issues.
• Inspects buildings and grounds to ensure safety and cleanliness, and alerts Maintenance to items that need to be repaired.
• Attendance is imperative and this position will be required to maintain regular onsite hours
• Other duties as assigned.
• Practice safe working habits and ensure proper PPE is being used (Steel Toed Boots, Safety Vest, Safety Glasses & Gloves)

Requirements

• Previous groundskeeping experience is preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance
• Ability to work outside in different elements
• Ability to walk for the entirety of your shift
• Excellent communication skills: ability to read, write and communicate effectively
• Knowledgeable in safe use of hand tools and other yard cleaning equipment

Monday-Friday

7am-3:30pm

$15.00/hr.
