Forklift Driver / Order Picker (Voice Picking Experience)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Driver and Order Picker with experience using voice picking systems. This role involves operating forklifts to move and organize inventory, as well as accurately picking orders using voice-directed technology to ensure timely and precise order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate sit-down, stand-up, or reach forklifts to move, load, unload, and store materials.
• Accurately pick customer orders using a voice-directed picking system.
• Verify product codes, quantities, and quality during the picking and packing process.
• Stage picked orders in designated shipping or staging areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and workstations.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any issues or malfunctions promptly.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Assist with inventory counts, replenishment, and other warehouse duties as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ year of recent forklift driving experience (certification required or ability to certify).
• Experience with voice-picking systems (e.g., Vocollect, Jennifer, or similar) is required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures.
• Use of voice-picking headsets, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.

MUST PASS DRUG TEST AND BACKGROUND CHECK

1^st shift:

5 am-3 pm (Overtime)

2^nd shift:

11 am-7 pm (Overtime)

$19.00/hr
