Operator
Extrusion Operator
Job Duties:
- Understand and follow all safety procedures/policies
- Safely and efficiently set-up and operate 3 or more extrusion lines to produce high quality HDPE film
- Ensure that proper materials are being used in accordance with procedures
- Monitor roll weights to ensure the correct gauge is maintained throughout the shift
- Assure proper processing and labeling of film
- Ability to accurately navigate through and input information in production management system
- Complete daily production reporting
- Diagnose and complete minor repairs
- Relieve co-workers during break periods as needed
- Accurately completes daily standard of work in timely manor
- Operates forklift as needed
- Operate extrusion lines in accordance with job safety analysis, standard operating procedures, quality procedures, and operator training.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Basic computer and math skills
- Demonstrated mechanical/analytical skills preferred
- Forklift certification (will train)
- Ability to work 12-hour day and night rotating shift
- Work overtime, weekends, holidays as required
- Satisfactorily complete training courses as determined by management
$18.30/hr for 1st shift
7am-7pm
$19.50/hr for 2nd shift
7pm-7am
