Environmental Health and Safety Specialist

Machine Safety/Machine Standards Specialist

Job Duties:

• Ensure all machinery (700+) are uploaded into the PowerApps
• Ensure all machinery and equipment on site comply with TMSS standards
• Complete a documented machine risk assessment and ensure all machinery comply with TMSS standards
• Follow recognized standards (Ansi B11, ISO 12100)

Additional Job Duties Include:

• Identify and guard all hazardous points
• Use  fixed guards , interlocks, light curtains etc.
• Ensure all machinery have a safety related parts of control systems and they must meet Performance  Level
• Ensure all machinery have clearly marked and accessible E-stops
• Must stop hazardous motion immediately
• Prevent restart until safe to do so
• Plan & oversee projects to install or improve machine guards
• Work closely with engineering, maintenance and production teams to implement solutions
• All energy sources must be lockable and labeled
• Isolate and verify zero energy before service
• Provide lockable disconnects and clear signage

Maintain the following

• Risk Assessments
• Schematics and safety validation

Requirements:

• Experience with: Machine Safety, Machine Guidelines and Machine standards.
• Engineer and OSHA EXP a plus.

1^st shift from 8am to 4:30pm – will need to be flexible.

Open for now BUT higher than entry level

Temporary to Hire

$25.00-36.00/hr DOE
