Machine Operator Supervisor/Machine Operator Lead Bilingual Preferred

They are responsible for adjusting Merchandise, Grocery or Sack paper bag machines and supervising Machine Operators to meet production goals and standards.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

1. Provide coaching and counseling to new and existing machine operators. 
2. Ensures Good Manufacturing Practices (GM) are followed.
3. Encourages, recognizes and rewards good performance.

1. Identifies and request discipline of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assure all work performed is completed in a safe manner with all production crews following Safety/ Housekeeping Procedures.
• Work with Production Shift Supervisor and HR to direct Machine Operators to achieve the highest possible manufacturing performance.
• Assure Machine Operators are following all Quality/Inspection programs. 
• Make Machine set-ups and order changeovers.
• Adjust and repair machines as needed.
• Complete daily production reporting.
• Monitor Production Crews work/break schedules.
• New Employee training.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Solid Mechanical aptitude is a must.
• Ability to review manufactured product and determine equipment adjustments required to achieve desired Quality and Production standards.
• Ability to provide clear instructions. 

• Ability to perform basic math functions.
• Ability to clearly communicate in writing and verbally.
• Self-directed time management skills.
• Normal vision with regard to color.
• Familiar with unionized environment.

Bi-lingual preferred

Experience:

• High School diploma or GED
• A minimum of one (1) year of leadership experience preferred
• Two (2) years Machine Operator manufacturing experience.
• Production experience in a manufacturing environment.

Long Term

$23.00- $26.00/hr DOE and shift time

1^st shift 7am- 3pm  

 3^rd shift 11pm-7am
