Customer Service Representative
The Customer Service Representative is a key member of the team responsible for answering phone calls and facilitating communication with healthcare providers, patients, and internal stakeholders. This role also coordinates and schedules initial and refill shipments of patient medications. Show initiative and take an enthusiastic, proactive approach to work
Job Duties:
- Strong telephone skills
- Answer incoming phone calls and provide necessary information
- Contact patients and gather essential information for coordination of prescription shipments
- Accurately and completely schedule medication deliveries
- Maintain patient records accurately and completely
- Follow all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA and compliance standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 1 year call center experience
- Type 30 Words per minute
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Professional office environment
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, and reach outward on a frequent basis
- Push/pull up to 15 lbs and lift/carry up to 15 lbs
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills are essential for this position
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while multitasking and adapting to change
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Experience using MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Must have reliable transportation to attend training sessions and meetings
Bilingual preferred but not required – Spanish
$18.00
Monday-Friday
8:30am to 5:00pm (30 min. Lunch break)
