Extrusion Machine Helper

Set-up, process, and operate the equipment for production runs.

Job Duties:

• Work safely at all times, comply with all Personal Protection Equipment guidelines
• Sheet Line operators perform necessary changeovers, process checks, and quality checks to safely produce extruded plastic sheet
• Responsible for recording all process parameters during production run
• Assists with basic Maintenance tasks as assigned
• Completes 5S tasks and checklists as assigned
• Employee may be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Requirements:

• Experience in sheet extrusion systems, or other plastics processing equipment.
• Experience with materials such as polyesters and synthetic polymers.
• Strong mechanical skills
• Able to work independently through entire process
• Read, write, and communicate in English
• Communicate via verbal and written technical information like pressures, temperatures, dimensions, materials, and other specifications
• Maintain basic set of tools: tape measure, utility knife, safety shoes, flashlight, etc.
• Read a micrometer, tape measure, and other instruments
• Follow written and verbal instructions
• Read and understand written Standardized Work Instruction Sheets
• Possess current forklift certification, or be willing to attend training

Monday to Thursday plus OT on Friday as needed

8am to 8pm

$23.00/hr.
