3rd Shift Machinery/Facility Maintenance Cleaner  (Recycling Facility)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cleaning Equipment/Machinery: Disassemble, clean, and reassemble production equipment (Conveyor Belts, Sorting Machines, Rollers Etc.; clean production areas using various equipment and tools.
• LOTO: Confined Space Entry procedures and Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO).
• Setup Assistance: Help with the setup and start of designated production equipment.
• Paperwork: Complete necessary paperwork.
• Production Support: Assist in production jobs as needed.
• Teamwork: Be a team member.
• Safety: Ensure a safe and healthy workplace, adhere to safety policies, and incorporate safety in all tasks.
• Quality Practices: Follow GMPs, ensure product quality, and report any adverse conditions affecting safety and quality.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulations at all times.
• Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

• No prior experience or training required. (Training and Certifications Provided)

Reasoning Ability:

• Ability to apply common sense to carry out oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving one concrete variable in standardized situations.

Other Skills and Abilities:

• Follow GMPs, safety regulations, safety harness and LOTO procedures.
• Basic mechanical skills for disassembling and reassembling production equipment.
• Ability to learn Confined Space Entry procedures and Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO).
• Ability to learn Safety Harness procedures.
• Strong attention to detail when reassembling equipment.
• Ability to work in a plant exposed to Hot/Cold Temperatures
• Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Good writing, verbal, and communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. safely.
• Ability to operate specific equipment or tools
