Machine Operator

Responsibilities:

• Operates and or assists with running machines in the Coiling department.
• Ability to use gauges to measure inner (ID) or outer (OD) diameters
• Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the set-up man or lead man.
• Soldering of core and re-work of product when needed.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
• Must be able to perform the following tasks: repetitive hand movements, bending/twisting conduit, lift/carry/move/push/pull material up to 50 lbs
• Ability to break/cut and trim ends of conduit with cutting tool.
• Standing for long periods of time
• Must be familiar with the basic machine functions in order to perform the tasks stated above.
• Must be willing to accept and receive frequent supervision and assistance with regard to machine set-up.
• Able to work overtime.
• Observe safety regulations and follow company policies.
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
• Able to operate the time and attendance system.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)

• Good command of the English language is beneficial for advancement.
• Must be able to read, use simple math, and use basic hand held measuring tools.

$17.50/hr: Monday – Thursday

6am – 4:30pm

$19.25/hr: Monday – Thursday

4:30pm – 3:00am

Temporary to Hire

Must wear steel toed shoes
