Inventory Associate

As a Procurement Support Analyst, you will optimize procurement operations by gathering, verifying, and managing supplier information, including order confirmations and tracking details. You will collaborate with Domestic Procurement, Inventory Sales Support, Account Managers, and Customer Service to ensure efficient procurement processes. Utilize your expertise in data analysis and software applications like Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerBI to support procurement activities. Analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to enhance procurement efficiency. Serve as the primary contact for suppliers, ensuring timely and accurate communication of order confirmations and tracking. Foster strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams to maintain seamless procurement operations and achieve organizational goals. Provide comprehensive support across all procurement activities, including verifying supplier information, managing order confirmations, and tracking deliveries. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to ensure flawless procurement processes aligned with company objectives. Identify opportunities for process improvement within procurement. Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve supplier performance through data analysis and stakeholder collaboration. Starting at the ground level of Supply Chain Management, this role offers collaboration with multiple internal and external customers. Ensure purchase orders are processed to maintain inventory in distribution centers and direct shipments to customers, directly impacting supply chain efficiency.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Gather, verify, and manage essential supplier details, including order confirmations and tracking.
  • Work closely with Domestic Procurement, Inventory Sales Support, Account Managers, and Customer Service to ensure efficient procurement processes.
  • Utilize tools like Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerBI to analyze procurement data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Serve as the primary contact for suppliers, ensuring timely and accurate communication of order confirmations and tracking.
  • Provide comprehensive support across all procurement activities, verifying supplier information, managing order confirmations, and tracking deliveries. Through data analysis and stakeholder collaboration, identify opportunities to enhance procurement efficiency, reduce costs, and improve supplier performance.
  • Ensure purchase orders are processed to maintain inventory in distribution centers and direct shipments to customers, directly impacting supply chain efficiency.
  • Any additional assigned tasks.

Requirements:

  • Remote, 40 hours weekly during standard business hours (8:00 am – 5:00 pm). You are entitled to a minimum 30-minute lunch break and two 15-minute breaks during the workday to ensure well-being and productivity.
  • Must have reliable internet.
  • You must have a workspace free from frequent interruptions comparable to a professional work environment.
  • Working from home should not be impacted or disrupted by the care of children or other dependents.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills:

  • Typically, a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. May have a degree or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience in maintaining SOPs, improving processes, and conducting team training.
  • Must have experience in customer service.
  • Must be proficient in spoken and written English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry trends.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

$22/hr

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (REMOTE)
