Human Resource Generalist

Elite Staffing Inc. is currently accepting qualified resumes for Human Resource Generalist in Lenox. This role will handle daily functions of the HR department including hiring, interviewing, payroll, benefits, enforcing company polices, ensuring pay is processed on time etc.


Duties and Responsibilities:

• Recruits, interviews, hires, and does orientation with new employees.

• Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.

• Prepares and maintains accurate records.

• Enters, maintains, and/or processes information in the payroll system.

• Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.

• Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

• Collaborates with departmental supervisors to understand skills and competencies required for openings.

• Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, termination, and investigations.

• Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.

• Complete data entry for new hires, benefits, and recruiting.

• Identify, assess, and implement continuous improvement activities in HR.


Education and Experience:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in human resource management or business

• 1 to 3 years of related experience required.

• Knowledge of Paychex or other related software
