Machine Operator-
Operates production machinery to apply raw materials to products or wrap finished products.
Essential Functions
Communicates issues and mechanical problems to next shift.
Checks daily production schedule and records what raw materials are needed.
Ensures that adequate supplies of raw materials are ready for addition to machine, as needed.
Ensures pizzas are centered on main lugs and makes adjustments, as needed.
Handles raw materials changes.
Troubleshoots, communicates and corrects any machine alarms.
Fills out Materials Forms for each new skew.
Completes all end of shift duties as outlined in SOP Tasks section.
Follows all PPE/GMP requirements.
Keeps work area clean and sanitary at all times.
If machine is down, asks Supervisor or Lead if there is other work available.
Notifies Supervisor or Lead when leaving line and why.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Lead or Supervisor.
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Desired Qualifications
Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
Competencies
Good basic mathematical aptitude required.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work under direct supervision and to follow instructions and techniques.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The work environment is cold. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

$15.00-20.00/hr
