Machine Operator

Mixing Operator/Packaging Machine Operator

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Daily Pre-Operations Safety Checks
Read and understand recipes and measurements
Track inventory of recipe ingredients per production order
Ensures that adequate packing supplies are stocked in or near the packing machine.
Maintains a clean and safe work area, disposing of excess materials.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ ABILITIES:

Ability to operate or to quickly learn packing equipment.
Good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Ability to train on all Allergen Controls, Food Safety & Sanitation, Food Defense, and SQF policies and procedures relating to job duties.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

One year of experience in food safety in a food manufacturing environment preferred
One year of packing machine operator experience preferred.
Intermediate math skills
Basic in Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook, Excel, Word.
Full time, Long term

Pay rate: $17.25 to 18.25hr

2nd Shift: 130pm-10:00pm
