Maintenance Mechanic
Maintenance Technician / Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining the production equipment in the facility. The Mechanic would be responsible for maintaining and enhancing equipment to meet production and quality and customer expectations.
Essential Duties:
-Troubleshoots motor control circuits, drives and PLC systems
-Performs routine PM's, repairs, rebuilds and modifies equipment assigned and to include electrically controlled equipment
-Completes necessary paperwork
-Performs upgrades and/or changes to equipment if needed
-Suggest ways to make production more efficient
-Maintains a high level of safety awareness and reports any unsafe or hazardous work conditions
-Follow co. policies and procedures as well as GMP's
-Perform equipment change-overs and production line set ups
Requirements:
-Min. 2 years Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferably food
-Prior experience working in a Manufacturing/ food processing plant
-Prior experience working with food grade processing, bagging and packaging equipment.
-Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, fractions and decimals
-Tig Welding experience a plus
1st shift: 5am to 2pm Plus OT
2nd shift: 2pm to 11pm Plus OT
Monday through Saturday.
Permanent with full benefits
$32.00-35.00/hr
